A Steinway Artist, Fenia Chang has enchanted audiences from all over the United States with her beautiful tone as well as her wide range of repertoire. Her recent engagements have included performances on four continents at venues including Avery Fisher Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, Carnegieˇ¦s Weill Recital Hall, Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Ecole Normale de Paris in France, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the National Concert Hall in Taipei, the Cultural Center of Hong Kong, Concert Hall in Beijing and Shanghai in China.
Born in Taiwan, Ms. Chang began piano study at age 9 and made her solo debut at age 11, after winning the first Japan Kawai Piano Competition. The performance was broadcasted on national television in Taiwan. She has performed extensively at venues including the Museum of Modern Arts in New York, Washington Arts Club Concert Series, Kennedy Center, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC, the Strathmore Hall in Maryland, Fairfax Auditorium in Virginia, the Ellipse Arts Center, Friday Morning Music Club Artist Series in Washington DC. She appears as soloists with numerous orchestras including the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Chamber Orchestra, Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra, the Albuquerque Symphony, New World Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic and National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra.
